Lake Morena Camping 2026

Wayfarers – join us as we head south to Lake Morena!
Lake Morena County Park is a camping and fishing park in East County San Diego. The park has a mix of desert, coastal, and mountain habitats. Lake Morena is at 3,000 feet above sea level. The park also has 8 miles of trails for walking and biking, TRACK trails for kids, a pavilion, and a playground.
The park is a popular vacation spot for many reasons:
It’s a hop, skip and jump away from the well-known Pacific Crest Trail.
The lake is regularly stocked with different types of fish.
On site are a number of partial RV sites, 86 campsites and group sites – even wilderness cabins!
There are plenty of picnic areas for day use
